IMPRESSION INSTRUCTIONS
CREATING YOUR IMPRESSION.
THE FIT STARTS HERE.
Your dental impression is used to create your custom piece, so getting a clear and accurate mould is essential.
Your Impression Kit includes two attempts. Read this guide completely before opening or mixing any materials.

- 2 × Catalyst Putty

BEFORE STARTING: Remove any oral jewellery or piercings. Clean your teeth and wash and dry your hands.
01 — SELECT YOUR TRAY.
Choose the impression tray that comfortably fits over your teeth without pressing against them.
Check the fit before mixing any putty.
02 — MIX.
Take one portion of Base Putty and one portion of Catalyst Putty.
Mix them together quickly until the material becomes one completely even colour with no streaks remaining.
Aim to complete the mixing within approximately 30 seconds. Once combined, the material will begin setting.
03 — LOAD THE TRAY.
Roll the mixed putty into a thick, even shape and place it along the impression tray.
Distribute the material evenly so your teeth will sit centrally within the putty.
A successful impression needs to capture the complete shape of the required teeth and the surrounding gum line.
04 — TAKE YOUR IMPRESSION.
Using a mirror, position the loaded tray centrally over your teeth.
Press the tray firmly and evenly into position.
For an upper impression, use your fingers to press upwards.
For a lower impression, use your fingers to press downwards.
Do not bite down on the tray.
Once positioned, keep the tray completely still. Avoid talking, biting or moving it while the material sets.
SET TIME: 2 MINUTES 30 SECONDS
05 — REMOVE.
Once the timer has finished, carefully release the tray from your teeth.
Remove it gradually rather than pulling aggressively.
Keep the impression material inside the tray.
SECOND IMPRESSION STAGE.
06 — PREPARE THE LIGHT BODY.
Attach a fresh mixing tip to the Light Body Syringe and twist until securely locked.
Dispense the material directly into the areas of your first impression corresponding to the teeth being used for your Stainless Steeze piece.
You only need enough material to properly cover the required areas. Do not empty the entire syringe, as it may be needed for another attempt.
07 — REINSERT.
Carefully place the tray back over your teeth, following the original impression as closely as possible.
Press it firmly back into position so the Light Body material flows around the teeth and captures the finer detail.
Keep completely still.
SET TIME: 3 MINUTES
08 — REMOVE.
Once set, gently work the tray free.
It may feel tighter than the first time because of the additional impression material. Release it carefully rather than forcing it out.
CHECK BEFORE RETURNING.
09 — QUALITY CHECK.
Before sending anything back to us, inspect your impression carefully.
You should be able to clearly see:
✓ Full shape of the selected teeth
✓ Clear tooth edges
✓ Front gum line
✓ Back gum line
✓ No major gaps or distortions
DO NOT immediately use your second attempt if you're unsure.
Take several clear, close-up photographs of your impression and send them to Stainless Steeze along with your order number.
We'll let you know whether the impression is suitable or whether another attempt is required.
10 — SELECT YOUR TEETH.
Clearly mark the teeth included in your order using the Tooth Selection Card provided.
Double-check your selection before returning the kit. Your custom piece will be produced according to the information supplied.
11 — RETURN.
Once your impression has been approved:
Place the impression, completed Tooth Selection Card and any required kit contents into the supplied return packaging.
Follow the return instructions included with your kit.
Once your impression arrives and passes its final check, production of your custom Stainless Steeze piece can begin.
NEED HELP?
